The Experiential learning from the Nature itself.

Don’t just Experience, Learn from Nature !

There is a lot to learn from the tangible things of nature. But also from the intangible things of nature..

Nature is not just there to support the ecosystem but if you look closely it provides the much needed basic ways of living as well. Yes, we admire the beauty of nature, get amazed by it, enjoy it, embrace it, feel rejuvenated and encapsulated at the same time and we think this is what nature is. But nature is much more than the surrounding beautiful environment. If you look closely it has many deep routed things that one can learn from to be strong and happy in our day to day lives

Gravity is one such factor.

“Even the tree laden with fruits is bent towards the ground”

Yes, you are thinking in the right direction. Its important to be grounded and be close to the roots even when you might have tasted the superlative pleasure and experience of success in any form. Success and Failure are just the words that describe certain kinds of experience. It has nothing to do with overall functioning of the human beings. Too much importance has been associated with the two words defining the credibility and acceptance of a person in the society at large. At the end of the day, they are just words and have associated stories that we can look as just a story rather than becoming or making it the final frontier and hence making it difficult to move beyond or forward. In whatever the case may be, being grounded and close to your roots is what nature is suggesting to us in its own way.

Another interesting factor of nature is the macro and the micro beauty.

“The skies and land are so enormous, but the detail so precise and exquisite, that wherever you are, you are isolated in the glowing world between the macro and the micro”

A rose is as beautiful as a bed of roses. The mountains are as sublime as each vegetation on it. Similarly, every small thing is to be looked on as large and every large thing in life as small. Period. If you have a big problem, try to make it sound or feel like small so that you are not captured by it completely. If you don’t, you cannot handle or face the situation at hand. If you have a big success, try not to be in the bigger glory of it. Modesty. In the same way, its important to make the small things large. Small things should not be ignored or taken for granted in the overall grandeur of the bigger picture. Small has its own beauty and without the small being there, the larger picture can never be beautiful.

Nature also has a dark side to it, the shadow. There is a reason it is black while all the other things are vibrantly colorful around it.

“If you don’t have any shadow, you are not in the light”

A very important lesson indeed. Nothing is there without a shadow. The bigger the object the larger its shadow. Now try and relate this with your being. Yes, you heard that right. However, bright or bigger (status or otherwise) you may be or may not be, you have an associated dark side to handle. The important thing is to be aware of it, embrace it, don’t fear it and learn to manage it. And lets not make everything easy here, there is no one way to do all this with your own shadow. No thumb rule to apply or not one direction to go ahead with. You need to play around with it while you move ahead by being ahead of it but at the same time being aware of it that it is there for a reason. To make you balanced. To make you reflect on yourself, especially your dark side.

Nature has many more aspects to it to learn from but that’s for you to explore. Exploring is exciting for a reason. Lets keep exploring and learning not only from self and other beings but also from the intangible things that nature has to offer.

PS — Thanks for enrolling in the Naturology course. This is a self learning course and the above examples are just a guide to help you see the correlations we can make with nature and its ways. Go Explore and Explode !

Cheers !
